A Botanical, Sculptural and Immersive Purim Table

For this year's Purim tablescape, I wanted something botanical, but not in the usual way. Not just florals placed nicely on a table. I kept thinking about drama overhead, about pieces that feel handcrafted and a little unexpected.

So we created these masks out of leaves, shaping them by hand and building them up slowly. Then we added natural embellishments and let cascading greenery spill out so they felt alive.

They’re suspended in midair, which completely changes the experience of the table. You don’t just sit down to it, you’re inside it.

The vibe is playful but still elevated. A little mysterious. Very botanical, very sculptural, but not stiff. I love that it feels immersive without being heavy.

The glossy blue table underneath was intentional for contrast. All that movement and texture above, and then this bold, clean surface below. It anchors everything without competing.

For me, this one was about pushing past the obvious. Taking leaves, something so simple, and turning them into structure. Letting nature become art. It feels fresh, creative, and honestly just really fun.
